John Isaac Myers is a wonderful example of family farming in Rockingham County located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  Over his lifetime, he owned four farms:  Green Mount, 60 acres; Silver Creek, 98 acres; Muddy Creek, 72 acres; and Maplewood, 140 acres.
