A rare and very old pocket New Testament in German. Inscribed "Amos Peachey" in pencil and "L. Jordan, 1843" in ink. 

Leather bound, heavily worn covers, with rounded edges and starting to detach. binding still usable, condition of pages is mostly good, some staining on title pages, otherwise small staining and foxing. Price reflects condition of this collectible piece of American history.
