Johann Georg Baumann/Bowman, son of Johann Michael Baumann and Maria Catharina Kampp, married Maria Barbara Keller, daughter of Johann Andreas Keller and Eva Catherine Haller, in Bodigheim, Germany. They had six children. They emigrated in 1749 and settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania. They later moved on to Rockingham County, Virginia.
